About the show
Who among us did not feel that he was going crazy? That our mad world is driving him insane?
Gogol's "The Chronicles of a Madman" is among the first texts about mental illness from the patient's point of view.
Although written at the end of the 19th century, it reflects our current chaotic reality.
In the play the story is told without text, because words have eroded and lost their meaning.
The members of the "Ayit" Ensemble give the text a pure, genuine and original expression -
from which one can begin to construct a language that will convey the full complexity and depth of the soul.
Duration: about 75 minutes.
